JERRY AND CHARLIE OUT AND ABOUT

4/29/02

This gossip item recently appeared in Ted's "The Awful Truth" at E!Online. Thanks to DMK for passing it along!

April 25th, 2002

Truckin' with more salacious pizzazz was... Jerry O'Connell, strolling down Sunset Boulevard. Just outside the unstoppable Standard Hotel. Hand in hand with a sorta-sweet brunette. J.O., hunky in tight jeans and a black sweater, seemed quite smitten as the two canoodled their way down the Strip. Just a hiccup away was handsome bro...

Charlie O'Connell, also heading down the club-lined boulevard on this same starry night. Dressed in a jeans and a denim
jacket, the low-voiced Dude, Where's My Car stud ambled past the Italian eatery Café Med with a male pal on his way to the next in spot.

According to Julie, "Woody" will return in the episodes "Someone to Count On" airing April 29th and "Secrets & Lies, Part 1" on May 6th. Jack Klugman, who earned four Emmy nominations as Quincy (1976-83), plays another medical examiner ---a far more fallible one --in this episode.

Curmudgeonly Leo Gelber (Klugman), the one-time chief coroner, is still bitter over his replacement by Macy (Miguel Ferrer). When Macy is asked to double-check his findings in an autopsy, Gelber accuses him of “manipulating the truth to make the old man look bad.” Meanwhile, in trying to help a teen (Indigo) suspected of killing her mother, Jordan clashes with an ex-lover (Brian Stokes Mitchell), who's prosecuting the case. Woody: Jerry O'Connell. Holden: Reginald VelJohnson. Schneider: Robert LuPone.

This is the information from TVGuide.com for the May 6th episode:

Crossing Jordan
Secrets & Lies, Part 1
60 min.
In Part 1 of a two-part season finale, Jordan investigates the death of a woman found hanged in a mental health facility and learns some things about her own mother's past.

Woody: Jerry O'Connell. Davey: Jeff Cahill. Herman Redding: Jack Laufer. Dr. Mark Hacken: Christopher John Fields. Maggie: Lindsay Frost. Abby: Alex McKenna. Young Jordan: Georgia Eskew. Kelly McDonald: Kate Norby. Max: Ken Howard. Macy: Miguel Ferrer. Jordan: Jill Hennessy.

Finally, the information for the May 13th episode from NBCMV.com:

CROSSING JORDAN
SECRETS & LIES, Part II

05-13-2002 10:00PM

MENTAL PATIENT'S SECRET COMPELS JORDAN IN
CONCLUSION OF TWO-PART SEASON FINALE -- Sparked by
a mysterious gift, Jordan (Jill Hennessy) agrees to dig into
a 10-year-old triple homicide in exchange for help from a
catatonic mental patient -- the prime suspect in the case
who claims to know the identity of her mother's killer. With
the help of Detective Woodrow Hoyt (guest star Jerry
O'Connell, "Jerry Maguire"), she searches for answers
about her mother's murder, and uncovers Max's (Ken
Howard) painful secret. Meanwhile, a brief family reunion
sends Lily (Kathryn Hahn) back home to play the good
daughter, forcing Garret (Miguel Ferrer) to make a hard
choice. Wallace Shawn ("Toy Story") reprises his guest-star
role as Dr. Howard Stiles. Ravi Kapoor and Steve Valentine
also star.
