The perfect $100K engagement ring Jerry O'Connell has known for months that he was going to propose to girlfriend Rebecca Romijn! He may have popped the question on September 18 in New York City, but "Jerry picked out the ring more than five months ago," a source tells CL. "He wanted to have it ready for the right moment." The Crossing Jordan actor, 31, worked closely with Simon (of L.A.'s Simon G Jewelry) on the engagement ring. "Jerry said he wanted the whole ring to be bold and all the jewels to be yellow," says the source. Rebecca is, of course, thrilled with the rock, according to the source, which is worth an estimated $80,000 to $100,000! Plans are underway for a New Year's Eve wedding for the couple, who have been dating since Rebecca, 32, split from her husband of six years, John Stamos, 42, in March 2004. As for Stamos's response to news of his ex-wife's engagement? "I wish them nothing but the best," says the gracious Jake in Progress star. Jerry proposed to Rebecca at the New York City apartment he grew up in! |
