About the Cast

New York City native, Jerry O'Connell (Scott Foreman) studied acting at the H.B. Studios under the direction of the legendary Herbert Berghof.  He made his acting debut in the off-Broadway comedy "Water Music," but it was his role as the timid Vern Tessio in Rob Reiner's classic "Stand By me' that made a lasting impression on film audiences when O'Connell was just eleven years old.  This led to his starring role ofr three seasons in the Universal television series "My Secret Identity."  O'Connell also appeared in the PBS Playhouse comedy "Olie Hopnoodel's Haven of Bliss," Hallmark Hall of Fame's "The Room Upstairs" and episodes of "The Equalizer" and Charles in Charge."  He is currently a student at NYU film School.
